EarthShare Washington has vetted and selected over 60 environmental organizations working here in Washington state and around the world and you can be sure that these charities are doing great work on something that really matters to our planet and local communities.
Make one simple donation and support all of the charities and causes that are necessary to address the wide variety of issues facing the health of our environment or support a broad cause you care about or a particular charity working on an environmental issue important to you.
Get your company involved or add the environment to your current giving campaign
EarthShare Washington partners with businesses and government agencies to educate employees about pressing environmental issues, share and create volunteer experiences and inspire them to give to EarthShare member organizations. Workplace giving campaigns offer ESW and our member organizations opportunities to speak and table at events, and we connect employees throughout the year with our member organizations through news, volunteer, and event listings on our website & newsletter.
ESW extends the outreach and fundraising capacity of our member organizations. We strive to reach a new audience with our environmental message -- to bring new donors, volunteers, and advocates into the movement - to serve as a unique connector between workplaces, environmental organizations, and the community.
Take the Earth Day Challenge
Get a group together of conservation heroes from your workplace, school, church, community, club or bring the family together to celebrate Earth Day. Sign your team up and set your goal. Let your friends, clients, customers or associates know via Facebook, Twitter or by email and challenge them to join you or ask them to donate to your favorite cause or to support all of the eco charities involved in the challenge through your team page.
Ask your team to Make one big change for Earth Day this year. Share your challenge by posting what you’re doing and a photo or a Vine. Volunteer as a team. We’ll provide a list of volunteer opportunities for people to select from including trail clean-ups, park clean-ups, and other activities to help the environment. As part of the free tools we provide, you can track your volunteer hours in our online system which will count towards your fundraising goal.
Join Sustainability managers anonymous
Sustainability Managers Anonymous (SMA). In partnership with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, EarthShare Washington convenes corporate sustainability managers periodically to collaborate and share real-world best practices.
Recent SMA topics included practical ways to “brand” a sustainability program and attract support from employees, software to measure sustainability progress, and a tour of the Bullitt Center in Seattle, considered tobe the world’s greenest commercial building.
