Mar 28 stewardship work party on the banks of Seattle's hometown river

Join People For Puget Sound and Sound Stewards on the Duwamish River to maintain a restoration site.

This former industrial site is now a green oasis providing shelter and food for wildlife like ospreys, great blue herons, bald eagles and juvenile fish.

We’ll be working together to remove pesky invasive weeds like blackberry and bindweed that threaten to overtake native plants.

Put on your (work) gloves and join the fight! This event will take place rain or shine, so don’t forget to dress for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water and a lunch. We will provide work gloves, tools, snacks, and beverages.

Everyone can help! No experience necessary. Children 10 and under must have one-to-one adult supervision.
