EarthCorps Volunteer Event: Skookum Wulge
Event Description
Join EarthCorps and the Citizens for a Healthy Bay as we will be removing invasive English ivy and Himalayan blackberry at Skookum Wulge restoration site from 9:30 to 3:30 on May 30th. Please dress appropriately-long pants and long sleeves to protect yourself from blackberry thorns, sturdy boots and leather work gloves. CHB will supply all the tools and lunch.

Skookum Wulge: 4610 Marine View Dr., Tacoma WA 98422
Skookum Wulge is located along Marine View Drive, near Brown’s Point. From Downtown Tacoma, take the 509 toward Brown's Point. 509 becomes Marine View Dr. Drive for several miles past Taylor and up towards the 11th street bridge. Skookum Wulge is located 1.1 miles north of east 11th street (right before the log storage area). There is a small parking area on the left with a NRDA informational sign. Look for CHB's sign off to the side of the road.
