Join EarthCorps and the Citizens for a Healthy Bay as we continue to restore this amazing Commencement Bay restoration site. We will be hosting an invasive plant removal at the Tahoma Salt Marsh restoration site on Ruston Way. All tools and lunch will be provided. Please dress appropriately in long pants, sturdy boots and bring work gloves.

Directions

Tahoma Salt Marsh: 1741 N. Schuster Parkway, Tacoma WA 98402

From I5 south take the Tacoma city center exit and follow the signs for Schuster Parkway. Schuster Parkway will become Ruston Way. Just before the corner of Ruston Way and N. McCarver St. there will be a parking lot on the left side of the street (this is across from Jack Hyde Park). Turn into the parking area and park here. Walk under the overpass, past the Chinese Reconciliation Park and TSM is between the park and the Sperry Dock ships. *EarthCorps crew members can drive down and park next to the site. Volunteers need to park in the parking area next to McCarver St.
