About the Property and Event:

Clover Creek Reserve is an example of woodland prairie, an increasingly rare landscape in Pierce County. When it was acquired in the mid-1990s, blackberry brambles prevented native plants from growing along the creek. Volunteers will participate in removing invasive Herb Robert from the property.  This weed is easy to remove and a fun activity for volunteers of all ages.  This work will help in the effort to improve stream-side habitat.

What to bring:
Please remember to dress for the weather.  Suggested Dress: Boots or comfortable athletic shoes, work clothes, rain gear and appropriate layers.  Volunteers should bring a refillable water bottle.  Snacks, drinks, tools and gloves will be provided.

Clover Creek Reserve is located on Johns Street E, Tacoma, WA 98445.

It is right where 6th Ave East turns into Johns St E.  You will see a gate and a CLC event sign and you can park in the shoulder.

If you put in the below intersection on google maps/mapquest it will take you right there:
6th Ave E & Johns St E
