Adventure Salmon Camp.  Join us in this rare opportunity to explore and learn of the Hood Canal watershed first-hand.  The Hood Canal region is rich in history, tradition and natural resources. The salmon is the one icon of the northwest that brings the elements of water, earth, and people together.

For summer 2010, we are once again offering a day camp and an overnight camp experience travelling the watershed of Hood Canal.

  • The day camp is available for 4-5th graders from July 20-22nd.
  • The overnight camp is available for 6-9th graders from August 10-14th.

Campers experience diverse ecosystems while having fun exploring the nature that surrounds them.  Their inner scientists emerge as they get down and dirty investigating aquatic and terrestrial habitats around Hood Canal beaches and rivers.  They'll discover interesting critters while exploring these natural wonders.  Campers have plenty of opportunity to get wet and have fun swimming, snorkeling and kayaking, participating in games and art activities and learning traditional knowledge from our Tribal neighbors.

Our Adventure Salmon Camps foster enthusiasm for lifelong learning and nurtures an inquisitive wonder and respect for our natural world.

With our limited camp space, Adventure Salmon Camp fills quickly.

Campers will explore and learn about Wild Salmon ecosystems, discover about the culture of the region, and oh yeah.... get a bit wet in the process.

Adventure Salmon Camp - DAY CAMP - Click image to viewA 3-day camp offered for 4th and 5th graders July 20th - 22nd. Each day will begin and end in Belfair. Day campers will explore the influence of salmon on the culture of the northwest through art, games, exploration, and discovery.
