Learn about growing native plants for stream and wetland restoration projects. Activities include starting plants from seed and cuttings, and transplanting and maintaining nursery stock. Events will occur at the King Conservation District Nursery facility in Renton from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Scheduled volunteer dates include:
March 6th, 13th & 14th
April 3rd, 4th & 17th
The King Conservation District invites you to participate in a variety of natural resource conservation projects where you will learn about restoring streams and wetlands, using native plants to restore native plant communities and engineering techniques to enhance fish and wildlife habitat. These projects are both fun and educational! For more information or to sign-up for one of these events, please contact Jacobus Saperstein at (425) 277-5581 ext. 126 or email Volunteer Coordinator
