First Creek Spring Clean-up

Location: 1801 E 34th Street, Tacoma, WA 98404 Church Parking lot at East 34th and “R” Street (off Portland Avenue)

This major clean-up event about caring for our environment, clean water and better wildlife habitat. It’s also about protecting and preserving the First Creek Watershed, a major green belt just off Portland Avenue. Please join us for a three hours of picking up liter and trash, removing Ivy from trees or cutting a few Blackberries. We’ll be working on and cleaning up the creek area between 34th and Fairbanks, including the actual creek and wetlands, the hillsides surrounding the creek and along the roadway.

Organize a team/group from your network of friends, co-workers, youth or church group and join us. A nice catered lunch will be provided after the work party, please RSVP by March 20th so we'll have an accurate lunch count.
