Donations through payroll pledges enable Earth Share of Washington (ESW) member organizations to spend less time fundraising and more time working toward a healthier environment.
What 3 ways can I give to Earth Share of Washington or a specific member group(s)?
- Direct Donation (either by check or directly through our website),
- One-Time donation through your workplace campaign,
- or payroll deduction.
How do I give by payroll deduction at my workplace?
Government workplaces:
If you work for one of the many government agencies in our area such as
the State of Washington, the University of Washington, Washington State
University, the federal government, City of Seattle, King County, as well
as many other counties and cities, you can find ESW and our member groups
listed in the campaign catalog under the "Earth Share of Washington."
Once you have found us, write our code number, and/or that of one or more
of our member groups, on your payroll pledge form.
Corporate workplaces:
If you work for one of many corporations that include ESW in your workplace
giving campaign, find ESW on your payroll pledge form and write ESW and/or
one of our member groups as a specific designation(s).
United Way campaigns:
If ESW is not yet listed by your employer in your workplace giving campaign,
you can designate ESW and/or our member groups in the "Specific Organization"
or "donor option" section of your United Way pledge form. Ask
your campaign coordinator how to do this if it is not clear.
How is my donation divided?
A gift to Earth Share of Washington is divided among all of our member groups or you can designate your donation to go to one or more of ESW's member groups or your choice.
