Earth Share of Washington and its member groups depend on volunteers and interns to support our programs and activities. If are interested in volunteering periodically for the environmental community, sign-up for Volunteer Alerts. We will notify you via email when new opportunities are posted to our website.
Through this website, you can find up-to-date volunteer opportunities with our Washington-based members and information about starting an Earth Share of Washington giving campaign at your workplace.
In addition, Earth Share hosts Day in the Park, our annual clean-up and restoration volunteer event. Individuals and workplace groups team-up to restore a local park. Day in the Park 2006 took place at 5 park locations around the Greater Seattle area and hosted volunteers from around Puget Sound. 500 volunteers from more than 50 businesses, environmental groups, community organizations, and government agencies attended.
Day in the Park 2007 is scheduled for September 29, 2007.
