Kayak Point Park Summer Work Party
People For Puget Sound's Sound Stewardship Program adopted four Snohomish County restoration sites for long-term stewardship in 2007. These work parties are open to the public, and all ages are welcome! We provide tools, gloves and any training required. We encourage people to bring their family and friends to join in the fun, get outside and do something good to help Save our Sound!
Join Sound Stewards and several Snohomish County partner groups at this unique shoreline park. Volunteers will be removing invasive ivy and helping improve the wildlife habitat features at the park. You can also join in the Beach EXPO with hands-on education booths and guided low-tide beach walks. Volunteers get free parking for the day! Limit 20 volunteers. No limit on Beach EXPO.
Groups welcome with RSVP. Kids under 10 welcome with one on one adult supervision. Community Service hours are available through participation. Students under 18 fulfilling community service hours MUST RSVP in advance and arrive with a signed parental waiver and contact form.
