Clean Water Fund

Neighborhood-based action and education programs bringing people, businesses and government together for sensible solutions that protect water and health, prevent pollution, and conserve natural resources.

Clean Water Fund's mission is to develop strong grassroots environmental leadership and to bring together diverse constituencies to work cooperatively for changes that improve their lives, focused on health, consumer, environmental and community problems. Since 1974, Clean Water Fund has helped people campaign successfully for cleaner and safer water, cleaner air, and protection from toxic pollution in our homes, neighborhoods and workplaces. Organizations and coalitions formed and assisted by Clean Water Fund have worked together to improve environmental conditions, prevent or clean up health-threatening pollution in hundreds of communities and to strengthen policies locally and nationally.

We all live downstream-- Neighborhood-based action, education programs which join citizens, businesses, government for sensible solutions ensuring safe drinking water, pollution prevention, resource conservation.
