The Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) is a non-profit organization established in 1984 by a bipartisan Congressional caucus to provide timely information and develop innovative policy solutions that set us on a cleaner, more secure and sustainable energy path.

Protecting the climate by educating Congress, developing innovative solutions, and building broad coalitions to move America to efficient and renewable energy for a sustainable future.

Mission
The Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally sustainable societies. EESI believes meeting this goal requires transitions to social and economic patterns that sustain people, the environment and the natural resources upon which present and future generations depend.
