NW Energy Coalition

The NW Energy Coalition is a regional alliance of more than 115 environmental, consumer, civic, faith-based and human service organizations, labor groups, and progressive utilities and businesses primarily from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and British Columbia.

Founded in 1981, the Coalition advocates for:

  • Energy efficiency
  • Renewable energy resources
  • Low income-energy services
  • Restoration of Columbia and Snake River fish and wildlife.

The Coalition has affiliate organizations in many locations in the state.  More than one third of its organizational members and two thirds of its individual members are from Washington State. 

A regional alliance of environmental and consumer groups, utilities and businesses advocating policies that promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, low-income energy services and salmon restoration.
