Nature Vision
Nature Vision promotes thoughtful decision making for a sustainable future through partnerships we’ve created with governmental agencies, school districts, and other community groups. Our organization manages and presents a wide range of hands-on, minds-on programs about our natural and cultural resources to school-age students, families, and adult groups, We serve over 44,000 K-12 students and members of the public in King County annually.
Our main programs include: Nature in the Classroom, one hour classroom programs focusing on cycles, ecosystems, interdependence, and biodiversity; Habitat Connections, two part ecosystem programs indoors and outdoors at Stream, Wetland, Forest, Puget Sound, and Aquifer sites; Outdoor Discovery Days and Science Fairs focusing on specialty curriculum needs; and Blue teams, student stewardship projects for local water bodies. (Please see http://www.naturevision.org/Programs.shtml for a complete list of programs).
