Greening the Classroom - One King County Student's Mission
One 14-year-old boy from Tolt Middle School is taking it upon himself to start a recycling program on campus, and his initiatives are catching on statewide. Richard Minor, from Carnation, WA is taking part in a pilot program set forth by King County that gets students involved in conservation. The goal is to cut garbage volume (and collection fees), reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and raise community awareness.
