Mar 11 volunteer work day restoring Titlow Park's estuary in Tacoma

Join us to help restore this unique pocket estuary at Titlow Park!  Your hard work will benefit salmon, waterbirds, and other native species.

Plant native vegetation and remove Himalayan blackberry and other habitat-modifying invasive species. You can also view and learn about local waterbirds.

This is a family-friendly event. However, children 10 and under must have adult supervision.

This event is cosponsored by the South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group, Metro Parks Tacoma, the Nisqually Indian Tribe, Tahoma Audubon, Citizens for a Healthy Bay, BNSF Railway Company and People For Puget Sound.

Please bring your own lunch and water.  If you have hand tools and work gloves, please bring them as well.

Wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather.  Snacks and beverages will be provided.
