The Nature Conservancy will be celebrating at beautiful Tenalquot prairie doing a variety of restoration work and admiring the red-tailed hawks and tree swallows that glide overhead. Join the amiable volunteers who help the Nature Conservancy restore remnants of our rare and beautiful prairie landscape and learn about our natural heritage in the process. New faces are always welcome!

On Saturday, January 17thth we will work to control invasive plants, possibly plant wildflowers and grasses and will warm our hands over burning brush piles. They’ll bring along the s’more supplies! Dress for the weather, bring a lunch & water and they'll provide the rest.

Work will begin at 10 am and continue until 3pm. You may stay for as much of that time as you choose.
