Exploring Puget Sound speaker series

People For Puget Sound’s popular public speaker series, “Exploring Puget Sound,” continues at REI Seattle on February 5 with a presentation by Dr. Tom Mumford.

Mumford will discuss how kelp, eelgrass and the hundreds of different seaweeds found in Puget Sound provide critical habitat and an important component of the food web. They also serve as environmental indicators of the Sound's health. Programs in this series are on the first Thursday of each month from September to May, except January, and are held at the Seattle REI Flagship Store from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
