Event Description

Join EarthCorps and the City of Seattle Dept of Parks and Recreation as they work to restore this Green Seattle Partnership (GSP) site. Dearborn Park, located in South Seattle, is home to many interesting and beautiful native plants. These plants are threatened by non-native, invasive plants like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry, invasive plants that cover and kill the natives. Volunteers will work to remove the invasive plants, spread woodchips, and possibly plant natve trees/shrubs.
