PCT - Bridge Creek Trail near Rainy Pass: WTA Work Party

The North Cascades. From Rainy Pass the Pacific Crest Trail proceeds south along Bridge Creek, providing access to a series of trails such as Twisp Pass and McAlester Trail. We'll work on the connector between Rainy Pass and the Bridge Creek trail head, starting at the Bridge Creek end, one mile down the highway, below Rainy Pass.

From Rainy Pass the Pacific Crest Trail proceeds south along Bridge Creek, providing access to a series of trails such as Twisp Pass and McAlester Trail. The trail drops down from the highway and follows the creek, with lots of big trees to be experienced along the way.

Driving directions:
From Seattle drive north on I-5 and take exit 230 (Anacortes/Highway 20) north of Mount Vernon. Follow Highway 20, otherwise known as the North Cascades Highway, to the top of Rainy Pass. Continue one mile below Rainy Pass to the Bridge Creek trail head. (Driving time from Seattle: approximately 3.50 hours.)
