Join Earth Ministry for a morning discussion with Rev. Alan Storey. Alan is Methodist pastor who served a multiracial congregation in South Africa for eleven years and whose experience with apartheid has shaped his social justice ministry.

In July, 2008, a blessing of scheduling had Alan on the faculty at Holden Village leading daily Bible study the same week as Earth Ministry's creation care retreat. That chance connection sparked Alan's interest in sustainability issues and has led him to begin incorporating environment and creation care themes into his ministry. Join us in an intimate setting as Alan shares the story of his sustainability journey and leads us in a short Bible study from his popular "Manna and Mercy" series.  There will be ample time for questions and discussion.

Rev. Alan Storey's Holden Village Bible study is available through Holden's audio archives.

Alan is here as part of a four-day visit to Seattle with his father, the Rev. Dr. Peter Storey.  We invite you to take advantage of their time here by attending any or all of the following events.  For further information, contact Catherine Smith or call 206-296-6978.
