Volunteer Event: Perrigo Community Park: Redmond
Come celebrate Climate Action Month with EarthCorps and the City of Redmond by planting native plants beside a beautiful wooded wetland near Perrigo Park.
What is EarthCorps Climate Action Month?
In November EarthCorps will partner with public and private partners to lead volunteers at 10 sites throughout the Puget Sound area. Volunteers will plant trees in parks and public natural areas, receive education and resources to plant their own trees properly and learn about other ways to continue to offset their carbon emissions. The event will include special efforts to promote carpooling, metro transit, biking and walking.
We will provide tools, gloves, instructions, refreshments, restrooms and lots of gratitude!
Groups are welcome, but please contact us in advance. Before working, all participants
must sign the volunteer agreement which is available at www.redmond.gov/insidecityhall/
publicworks/environment/pdfs/waiverform2008.pdf
- Under 18 must obtain guardian's signature
• Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
