Earth Ministry is pleased to introduce a new opportunity for high school and college-aged youth to get involved in environmental stewardship and care for creation. Join us for this innovative and informative workshop!

On Saturday afternoon, February 6th, Earth Ministry is hosting an exciting new opportunity for high school and college-aged youth!

We believe that youth have the passion, energy, and ability to reach out to their peers and elders on environmental issues, while acting as models for future generations. Young adults have the resources to network both within their own congregations and more broadly across denominations. This workshop will empower youth to be active and engaged in their churches for stewardship of creation on a deeper level.

Participants will be able to:

Discuss reasons why faith communities should care about the earth
Be introduced to ways their church can step up and "green" their faith
Learn how to adopt leadership roles within their own congregation
Discover ways to interest peers in environmental advocacy work
Have an opportunity to ask their questions in a safe and open dialogue with Earth Ministry staff
