Event Description

Join EarthCorps and Seattle parks Department for this Green Seattle Partnership in our effort to restore this West Seattle Natural Area. This area is located near the West Seattle Bridge and along Admiral Way. We will be removing invasive plants and planting native trees & shrubs in an effort to improve the health of this aging urban forest.

By Car:
From I-5 north or south, take the West Seattle/Columbian Way Exit toward the West Seattle Bridge. From the West Seattle Bridge, take the Harbor Ave/Avalon Way exit. Stay to your left on the exit ramp, eventually turning left onto Avalon Way. You will pass under the West Seattle Bridge. Immediately after you pass under the bridge, take a right. The street is unmarked, but it is officially called 30th Ave SW and it is right before Luna Park Café. If you pass Luna Park Café, you have gone too far. Follow 30th Ave Sw a short distance to Manning St. Take a left onto Manning St and park under the West Seattle Freeway Bridge.
