Stream and Wetland Enhancement: The King Conservation District stream and wetland restoration program has many successful restoration projects that require native plant installation and ongoing maintenance. Sample a variety of restoration projects while replanting and removing invasive species. Projects locations are throughout King County, so please contact us for details. Events will occur at project locations yet to be determined from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The King Conservation District invites you to participate in a variety of natural resource conservation projects where you will learn about restoring streams and wetlands, using native plants to restore native plant communities and engineering techniques to enhance fish and wildlife habitat.
