Sierra Club Foundation, The

The Sierra Club Foundation is a public charity whose mission is to provide financial support to the Sierra Club and other environmental organizations for charitable projects. We fund a range of environmental projects which fall into the three general categories of public education, litigation, and training. The Sierra Club Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals.

Since 1960, The Sierra Club Foundation has funded tens of millions of dollars worth of important work, from small local projects costing a few hundred dollars, to large, multi-year, multi-million-dollar campaigns.

The financial support for The Sierra Club Foundation comes from individual donors and foundations who recognize that The Sierra Club Foundation is the most effective organization to sponsor important environmental work.
