Join Kirkland Public Works and EarthCorps as we spend the day restoring the banks of Everest Creek. We will be removing Himalayan blackberry and sheet mulching to prevent regrowth of this invasive species.

Event Description

Join EarthCorps, Friends of the Hylebos, the City of Federal Way and Washington State Parks as we spend a day restoring Federal Way's premier parks on this day of service! Gloves and tools will be provided but if the volunteers have their own tools/gloves they like to use they are encouraged to bring them.

Today volunteers will be working to restore native habitat by removing English Ivy from the forest floor and trees.
